Sadashivrao is lonely after the demise of his wife, as his only son, Chandrashekar, is busy making a career for himself in Bangalore. Sujayeendra Theertha comes to Sadashivrao’s house as a paying guest since he gets an appointment at the local bank. The story begins to unfold as Sadashivrao starts seeing Sujayeendra as his son.
